Jeju Dream Tower Casino is Ready to Open on Friday
According to Lotte Tour Development, the Jeju Dream Tower Casino will open on June 11, 2021. Furthermore, the inspection of the gaming equipment is done and they are ready for gamblers to play in their casino. The Dream Tower Casino is 5,000 square meters with 150 table games, 71 electronic table games and 190 slot machines.
Even though the number of foreign tourists is currently small because of the pandemic, they expect to make a profit. According to Lawrence Teo, the Dream Tower Casino CFO, they expect $27 to $26 million in casino sales per month. The success of the casino is crucial to the Lotte Tour Development, the owner of the casino. This is because the casino is their main investment.
However, according to casino news, once the pandemic restrictions are over, the island will get 1.4 million tourists per year. Thus, it is just a matter of holding on long enough until that time.
