The sports betting industry in the US is rapidly changing because of the legalization of sports betting in several states. In this latest development, FanDuel Partners with fuboTV in order to integrate sports betting data with fuboTV’s streaming TV service.
According to today’s announcement by both companies, the fuboTV platform will integrate the sports betting data this coming week. In addition, part of the deal includes TVG and TVG2, FanDuel affiliate horse racing networks, being available to fuboTV subscribers. Thus, fuboTV will now have exclusive sports gambling content, special shows, and on screen data from Fanduel.
FanDuel, the Exclusive Gambling Advertiser on fuboTV
Another important part of this partnership is that FanDuel will become the exclusive gambling advertiser on fuboTV. Therefore, fuboTV will only advertise FanDuel in the sports betting, online casino and horse racing categories.
To get the exclusive sports betting data, fuboTV subscribers will have pay and $8.99 for the Sports Plus add-on package. In addition to the sports betting data, the new channel will also have access to fantasy news programming.
Many sports wagering fans are wondering whether they will also have betting picks available as well. However, it seems like anything is possible as long as it adds value for their customers. Min Kim, the fuboTV VP of business development said they are always looking for ways to “enhance their premium experience”.
Furthermore, they fuboTV is very happy to have FanDuel as a partner because it will enrich their programming. This partnership is a ground breaking deal for both companies. This is because it is the first time a “virtual MVPD and a gaming company integrate their product on fuboTV”.
Media companies in the U.S. have been making a lot progress integrating sports gambling into their programming. Recently ESPN and Caesars Entertainment made a similar deal to create a sports betting show for sports bettors.
Furthermore, even Fox is partnering with Stars Group and will help launch Fox Bet, a sports betting website. In addition, Fox Bet will also be using the sports betting software from Sky Bet.
