Las Vegas Casinos Reopen after the Coronavirus Closures that went on for over two months. However, even though plenty of gamblers went out on the Vegas Strip, the atmosphere was quite different than usual. This is because despite the sound of cards being dealt and the rolling of the dice, patrons were still wary.
However, the overall atmosphere in Vegas was one of joy as thousands of casino employees were back on the job. This is because after several months of unemployment, life was back in entertainment capital of the world.
Las Vegas Casinos Reopen and Hoping for a Fast Recovery
The past few months have been a financial challenge to Las Vegas, casino owners and employees. Some casinos around the world were able to offset some of their losses with online casinos, However, in most cases it was not enough, and many were not able to offer that option to their customers.
However, the worst is now behind, and most hotel-casinos in Las Vegas chose to open their doors shortly after midnight. Furthermore, many casinos downtown had lines of customers waiting to enter. Once the doors were open, players had to go thru a temperature check before they could enter the casino floors.
Furthermore, the live casino dealers wore face masks or shields and dividers could be seen at the table games. In fact, even a bartender dancing on top of a bar in lingerie had a face mask on! In addition, casinos are disinfecting dice, limiting players at a table to keep everyone safe.
For the grand reopening of Las Vegas casinos, several people flew from out of town. Unfortunately, many made comments about the lack of people on the Vegas Strip. Casino operators are hoping that the situation will lack of gamblers will see a quick recovery.
According to betting odds experts, they believe it will take years for Las Vegas to recover. This is because travelling is still an issue and many restrictions are still in place. Thus, convention halls, night clubs, shows and parties are still dormant.
