Paradise Co, the casino operator of South Korea’s foreigner-only casino, has declared an increase in their casino revenue. The increase is at 0.9%. the 0.9% increase is year-on-year for the month of September. The revenue amounts to KRW 53.07 billion, or around US $ 37.1 million. If we look at last year’s numbers in September, the amount is as KRW 52.57 billion.
In the latest casino news, the information includes the following: the table revenue for last month was down by 1%, which is around KRW 49.48 billion. This is lower by a bit, compared to around KRW 49.96 billion in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, the machine revenue for Paradise Co increased by 37.4% on a year-on-year count. This amounts to around KRW 3.59 billion for September.
Paradise Co Figures and Locations
All of the numbers mentioned were taken from the results of their four locations in their casino business division. The locations are in Walkerhill in Seoul, Busan Casino in Busan, Paradise City in Incheon, and in Jeju Grand on Jeju Island.
This also coincides with the opening of the second stage of the development of Paradise City. They recently launched a lot of new amenities, including a boutique hotel, a spa, a club, a shopping mall, a film studio, an art gallery and a family entertainment complex.
The first stage of Paradise City opened last April 20, 2017. This development is a joint venture between Paradise Co and Sega Sammy Holdings, a Japanese pachinko operator.
As for the numbers for the first nine months of this year 2018, the aggregate casino revenue of Paradise Co increased by 17% compared to the previous year. It amounts to around KRW 462.38 billion. In addition, the table revenue within the same period increased by 16.9% which is at around KRW 430.40 billion. Lastly, the machine revenue covering the same period increased by 18.7%, which is around KRW 31.98 billion.
