BetMGM signs multi-year sports betting partnership, becoming the official sports betting partner of the Washington Nationals. After agreeing to an exclusive deal with the Major Baseball League’s team owner, Lerner Sports Group.
The Sportsbook is operated by Roar Digital, a joint venture of MGM Resorts International, and Entain (formerly PLC).
Multi-year Sports Betting Partnership Terms
According to Korea Live Sports reports, the terms of the new multi-year sports betting partnership include opening a new BetMGM Sportsbook at the National League East division team’s home in Washington D.C. It also includes providing betting odds in Nationals Park at the Center Field Social. They will also launch a mobile app used within a designated area around the park.
Aside from that, according to sources of sports betting in Korea, fan-focused campaigns, as well as co-branding, are part of the deal. Although unable to access the new Sportsbook while attending a Nationals game, fans will be able to place wagers through BetMGM’s mobile app.
Alan Gottlieb, Chief Operating Officer for Lerner Sports Group, comments on the merging in an official press release. He mentioned, BetMGM, as their Official Sports Betting Partner, will further enhance the most significant in-venue fan experience in Washington D.C.
Thus, the BetMGM mobile app will enable their fans to engage with the game in new and exciting ways. Simultaneously, the BetMGM Sportsbook connected to Nationals Park will provide Nationals fans and the D.C community with a first-class gathering place to celebrate their passion for spots together.
Luxury Viewing and Sports Betting Experience
Other details of the partnership include BetMGM providing a luxury viewing and sports betting experience at the MGM National Harbor Dugout Club. It is situated on the field next to the team dugout, as per sources of Korea Live Sports. Wherein it complements the existing experience at the eight-seat premier luxury sports box.
BetMGM Chief Revenue Officer Matt Prevost commented on the tie-up. He said that the new partnership with the Nationals is their most in-depth partnership with a team. It showcases the multitude of ways they can engage fans in and out of stadiums. Therefore, they are excited to work together to create unique experiences for National fans and the broader D.C metro area during and after games.
